a man is made to lead and guide,
to serve, protect, and to provide,
to be a living sacrifice,
to follow after Jesus Christ
his character should, selfless, be
of patience and humility,
slow to anger, swift in grace,
bestowing brotherly embrace
a man pursues to know the Lord,
each day abiding in His Word;
with wisdom and in purity
he thus pursues maturity
to fight and conquer sin with love,
his strength must come from God above;
God's gift to help him to the end:
the brotherhood of godly men
